If every Bucks County resident donated just $1, we would raise enough money for more than 100 individuals with autism to attend a camp program designed to help them develop self-esteem and social skills necessary to function independently in the community. It could also enable local community organizations to expand their service offerings or continue to provide key programs to address the developmental needs of individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
The latest statistics indicate that autism affects nearly 1 in 110 or almost one percent of all American children. Chances are, you are close to or know someone affected by autism. Your financial support will increase the likelihood that individuals with autism can have access to much needed programs that can help maximize their potential.
BCASC provides grants to support local organizations that provide critical services to individuals and families affected by autism. BCASC also offers free presentations in the community on Autism Spectrum Disorders, holds an Annual Autism Conference geared towards parents & professionals, presents a Speaker Series--and much more. Through your support, we can continue to provide these opportunities as well as create new avenues to support individuals with autism.

" I just wanted to drop you a quick note and let you know how much I appreciate the scholarship you made available to my son so that he could attend camp at the Expressions Camp at George School. He was recently diagnosed with Asperger's and it has been difficult finding him help in dealing with his symptoms....Your generous grant allowed me to provide him with the assistance he needs and he has enjoyed every minute of camp and can't wait to go back next year. So again thank you for helping me help my son."

“Community is important for people affected by an autism spectrum disorder. So often, we don’t know where to turn for information, or support, or we just want a connection to others who can relate. We are all so different, but we have many similar experiences and can learn a lot from one another. BCASC is building a community through its events, its activities, and its sharing of information. Join with us in creating and strengthening a sense of connection for persons with autism and our families.
