Scope of the Conference
The goal of the conference is to provide parents, educators, and other professionals the necessary information and tools to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism. With half of the attendees being parents and the other half professionals working in the field, the conference committee is seeking presentations to meet both of these needs. The conference committee provides the following as topics of interest: social skills interventions, behavior support strategies, sibling interactions, inclusion, Asperger’s Syndrome, communication strategies, and transition to the workplace/community.
